CHENNAI: TN Health Minister Ma. Subramanian on Wednesday announced reappointment of Rathinavel as Dean of Madurai Medical College.
He was removed after first-year students of the college had taken a Maharishi Charak Shapath, instead of the Hippocratic Oath, during the white coat ceremony.
Soon after the incident, Health Minister Ma Subramanian had directed Director of Medical Education Dr Narayana Babu to conduct a departmental inquiry into the incident.
