Arumugasamy commission likely to submit report tomorrow

The meeting was originally scheduled at 11 am on Tuesday, August 30, and was advanced to 6 pm on Monday as the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Vice-Chancellors of State-run universities on Tuesday.

CHENNAI: As the State cabinet meeting is scheduled to convene on Monday (August 29), the Arumugasamy commission is expected to submit its report on late leader J Jayalalithaa's death tomorrow, which will be discussed in the meeting.

The meeting was originally scheduled at 11 am on Tuesday, August 30, and was advanced to 6 pm on Monday as the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Vice-Chancellors of State-run universities on Tuesday.

Besides, the Parandur airport project has turned into a much-debated issue in the State after political parties started queuing in the area. The issue will also be discussed apart from the Bills pending with the Governor and the status of new investments.
