CBSE announces Class 10 results; pass percentage at 94.40%

Once again Trivandrum region secured first place by getting an overall pass percentage of 99.68%.

CHENNAI: A few hours after the release of Class 12 results, the CBSE on Friday announced the results for Class 10 board exams with an overall pass percentage of 94.40%.

Once again Trivandrum region secured first place by getting an overall pass percentage of 99.68%.

Accordingly, Bengaluru secured the second position with an overall pass percentage of 99.22% followed by Chennai, which had got 98.97%.

A total of 20.93 lakh students across the country have appeared for the exam and out of which 19.76 lakh candidates have secured pass marks in all subjects with an overall pass percentage was 94.40 %.

The CBSE also said that only 63 students have secured more than 95% (all subjects) and mere 290 students have got between 90% and 95%.
