The much anticipated movie of Kollywood superstar Suriya's Soorarai Pottru will be released on November 12 in the video streaming platform Amazon Prime. On the occasion of Vijayadasami, the makers of the Sudha Kongara directorial released the film’s trailer. What we see in the 2 minutes-long trailer is the story of a man from a rural background with great ambitions.
The movie is based on the autobiography Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey written by Captain G.R. Gopinath. Initially, the makers had planned to release Soorarai Pottru on Oct 30. However, the film’s release was postponed owing to the pandemic situation. The film also features actors Aparna Balamurali as the leading lady, while Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu will be seen in key roles. It is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and co-produced by Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment.
