In the Covid-19 time, what became a never ending concept among meme creators in Tamil Nadu is actor Surya and his infallible prophecies about future catastrophes through his movies.

From '7aum Arivu' to 'Kaappaan', his movie references are trending as meme concepts in social media. The acuity of Meme Creators took a sharp high in fun when they linked the current Coronavirus spread to Surya's '7aum Arivu' and locust attacks in Northern parts of India to the hero's 'Kaappaan'.

The MCs did not forget Surya's classic 'Mounam Pesiyadhe' to create a reference with the recent social distancing norms. A meme showed a scene from 'Mounam Pesiyadhe', where Surya advises a young newly married couple to walk with a distance from each other when he sees them showing Public Display of Affection (PDA) in the middle of the road. This was wittily linked with the current social distancing norms followed throughout the world.

Another meme from the actor's movie 'Vel' showed Surya folding his hands to greet, when a person held out his hands for a handshake.

The quirkiness of MCs hit a new level, when they created memes asking Surya to act in a movie in the future where India would become a superpower or where 90s kids would get married.  The actor is seen trending in memes as, time-traveler and Illuminati and so on.
