Singer SP Balasubramanian has been admitted in city based MGM HealthCare hospital after he was contracted with the COVID virus. His health went for a toss after a week's treatment.

Prayers poured in from all corners and SP Charan had been updating in social media about his health improvements since then.

Yesterday, SP Charan had confirmed that though his father had tested Covid negative, he is still under ventilation as his lungs still have traces of infection. Even while the singer is not under sedation anymore, he is still under ECMO support, Charan said.

Confirming the same, the hospital released a health bulletin about SPB's health update. The bulletin read that the singer remains stable and continues to require ventilator and ECMO support. He remains awake, responsive and his vital parameters are satisfactory.

The bulletin further said, that his current clinical condition warrants an extended stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Meanwhile, rumours surfaced that the singer might require lung replacement, but there werent any official confirmation on the same.
