CHENNAI: Actor Rajinikanth on Friday launched the teaser of the 44th International Chess Olympiad in his official Twitter page. The 39 second teaser starts with a traditional dance in which Chief Minister MK Stalin and musician AR Rahman are featured.

Stalin is seen in a black-and-white dress symbolizing the chess pieces. The theme of the song is to welcome people to TN to witness the rich heritage of the state. The teaser was directed by Director Vignesh Sivan and was composed by Rahman.

After launching the teaser, Rajinikanth inquired about the health of Stalin who is admitted in a private hospital for COVID infection and said that he was proud in launching the teaser of the song. He also said that the 44th International Chess Olympiad to be held in Tamil Nadu is a matter of pride for the state and added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the international event on July 28.
