4 army personnel injured in Kabul suicide blast

A suicide bomber blew himself up at about 7.30 am outside the Afghan National Army's Kabul Military Training Centre in Police District 19.

At least four military personnel were injured due to a suicide blast outside an Afghan army training centre here on Monday, police said.

"One suicide bomber blew himself up at about 7.30 a.m. outside the Afghan National Army's Kabul Military Training Centre in Police District 19 here," Xinhua news agency quoted the police as saying.

More details were awaited as an investigation was underway.

Army officers and security personnel were arriving at the Center when the blast occurred, according to a witness.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
