Origin of Delhi school featured in NYT contested

A report published in The New York Times, syndicated by Khaleej Times about government-run schools in Delhi has split opinions. Several BJP leaders claimed the picture shown was that of Mother Mary’s School, a private institution. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were accused of peddling lies in the country and abroad. Photojournalist Saumya Khandelwal, who clicked this picture, confirmed that the photo was that of govt-run Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Kakrola, Delhi.
