A reader pointed out that a newspaper article said, “Sri Lankan flight welcomed at UP’s Kushinagar Airport. Yogi Adityanath received the Buddha relic at the airport.”

Alt News found that what is being circulated as a stone from the Ashok Vatika is actually a metal relic of Buddha.
