After videos of Hindutva leaders spewing divisive rhetoric during an event called ‘Dharam Sansad’ held in Haridwar between December 17 to 19 surfaced online, members and supporters of the BJP shared a video of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

They claimed he can be heard threatening Hindus.

Alt News found that Owaisi’s speech was not made after the ‘Dharam Sansad’ event but five days earlier in Kanpur. Also, Owaisi did not “threaten Hindus” in the speech but was referring to the atrocities of the Uttar Pradesh police.
