With the Delhi riots last month continuing to raise uproar in Parliament, a set of images of a pile of swords and knives on a table with claims that they were seized from the Delhi RSS office and from the residence of suspended AAP councillor Tahir Hussain is going viral.

However, Alt News had last year debunked earlier false claims associated with the images. According to a 2018 media report, the images of the weapons were from a ‘kirpan’ factory in Punjab. The other images were found to be of the police busting an arms racket being operated from a hotel on the Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway in 2016.
