Vinayagar Chaturthi: Southern Railway to run two one-way specials to Tambaram

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate two one-way special trains from Manamadurai and Nagercoil Junction to Tambaram on September 14 to clear the extra rush of passengers during Vinayagar Chaturthi.

Manamadurai–Tambaram one-way Unreserved MEMU special will leave Manamadurai at 2.30 pm on Monday and reach Tambaram at 11.55 pm.

It will operate via Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Ariyalur, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.

Nagercoil–Tambaram one way Superfast Special will leave Nagercoil Junction at 11 pm on Monday and reach Tambaram at 10.45 am on September 15.

It will operate via Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi, Pudukkottai and Tiruchchirappalli.
