TN's EDII to hold “Entrepreneurship awareness camp” online on Oct 18

Taking note of the Vision 2023 statements of the state government, the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, had also launched a comprehensive program called Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Program (IEDP) for entrepreneurship and innovation development for all colleges, polytechnics, and ITIs.

CHENNAI: The state-owned Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, will organize four hours of “Entrepreneurship awareness camp” online on October 18, 2022, from 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM. Candidates between the age of 18 to 30 may enroll in this program.

Stating that this program is for those who are interested to start their career in entrepreneurship, a notification from the state government said "this program session includes about entrepreneurship and its competencies, Idea generation and Business model, about financial assistance through government schemes and services."

In addition, students who are willing to learn more about the selection of projects, business plans, and project preparation, marketing management, financial management should enroll their name for the second phase of the program.

The main objectives of IEDP include creating positive and dynamic entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem within and around higher educational institutions, building entrepreneurial and innovation competencies of faculty, students, and alumni, and supporting the growth and graduation of new high-impact enterprises of students, alumni and people Incentivise and to support the creation and commercialization of intellectual property.
