TNPSC Group 2 exam results out

TNPSC now, has released the Group 2A exam results for 5,990 posts with interview.

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Tuesday declared the results of the Group II and II A services.

According to the Commission, the marks and rank position of the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination II (Group II/IIA services of Non-interview posts) for the 5,990 vacancies published in the website www.tnpsc.gov.in .

"39,936 persons were qualified for the Sub Registrar, Junior Employment Officer, Probation officer, Assistant Inspector and other posts and 392 were qualified for Personal Clerk and Steno-Typist posts in various departments," said Ajay Yadav, Controller of Examinations, TNPSC.

About 10 lakh candidates wrote the preliminary examination for Group II/IIA posts which was held in the year 2022.

About 50,000 people who cleared the Prelims, appeared for the Main examination.

Earlier, the results for interview posts were declared by the Commission last January and their posts were filled through counseling.

Subsequently, the Commission has declared the results for non-interview posts.

14,500 candidates will be called for counseling at the ratio of 2.5 candidates per post.

The counseling schedule will be announced later.
