TNHB house allotment order given to Kumari Anandan

Kumari Anandan, who had fought for the rights of the people for more than six decades and was an ardent follower of late Chief Minister K Kamaraj, demanded the State government to allot a house for him.

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday handed over the order of allotment of a house in Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) in Anna Nagar, Chennai, to veteran Congress leader Kumari Anandan.

Kumari Anandan, who had fought for the rights of the people for more than six decades and was an ardent follower of late Chief Minister K Kamaraj, demanded the State government to allot a house for him. Based on his demand, a Higher Income Grade (HIG) type house was allotted to the senior Congress leader and the order was issued in the presence of Housing Minister S Muthusamy, TNHB Chairperson Poochi S Murugan, Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu and officials of Tamil Development Department.
