The Covid recovery rate is also improving in State after more than one lakh patients have recovered. Citing these factors, Minister of Health and Family Welfare C. Vijaya Baskar has appealed to those recovered to come forward to donate plasma.

The plasma therapy bank is to be opened in Chennai from Monday, the Minister said in Thoothukudi on Saturday after reviewing anti-COVID measures adopted by District Administration through Department of Healths. “The government is taking all preventive measures on a war footing to contain further COVID spread,” he said.
