Tamil Nadu has detected 5,996 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to the state's health department. The total infected cases has increased to 4,09,238 in the state.
The state saw 97 COVID fatalities today. The total death toll in TN has increased to 7,050.
About 5,752 Covid patients have been discharged today from various hospitals in the state, following treatment. The total number of active cases in TN stands at 52,506.
