TN files plea to cancel trio’s bail

The State police have filed a bail cancellation petition at the Principal Sessions Court, Tiruvallur against Khaja Moideen, Abdul Shameem, Syed Ali Nawaz, accused in Hindu Munnani leader KP Suresh’s murder case.

The Principal Sessions Court Judge J Selvanadhan has also taken the petition on record regarding the cancellation of bail.

Abdul Shameem is the prime suspect involved in the murder of Special Sub Inspector Y Wilson that took place near Kaliakavilai in Kanniyakumari district on Wednesday. Nawaz and Moideen were arrested in Delhi on Thursday by the Delhi special cell police. Moideen is also an accused of IS-related cases by NIA for recruiting people for the terrorist organisation. The National Investigation Agency has also issued a non-bailable warrant for Mohideen at the instance of Special Public Prosecutor CSS Pillai.
