TMK demands action against demeaning remarks on Thevar

A TMK release here said, a protest by its Founder S K Saamy Thevar, Advocate Supreme Court of India, was held demanding police action against those making such remarks.

Mukkulathor Padhukappu Padai, a Divisional Unit of Tamil Nadu Munnetra Kazhagam (TMK), today demanded police action against those allegedly demeaning Hindu Gods and freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar in the social media.

A TMK release here said, a protest by its Founder S K Saamy Thevar, Advocate Supreme Court of India, was held demanding police action against those making such remarks.

Muthuramalinga Thevar is a revered figure in Tamil Nadu, especially in the southern parts of the state.

Saamy also appealed to all politicians in Tamil Nadu not to mislead by deposing wrong information related to the Hindu Gods and traditions as well as renowned leaders like Thevar to the younger generations.
