Thevar Jayanthi: Stalin to visit Pasumpon on October 30

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will visit Ramanathapuram's Pasumpon on the occasion of Thevar Jayanthi and Guru Pooja of Pasumpon Muthuramalingam on October 30 at his memorial. Security has been beefed up in the southern village.

Cutting across party lines, leaders of several parties will participate in this event and pay their respects at the Muthuramalinga Thevar memorial.

MK Stalin is expected to reach Madurai by plane on October 29. He will pay tribute to the statue of Muthuramalingam in Koripalayam, Madurai, on the morning of the 30th. Later, he is scheduled to visit Pasumpon village along with the ministers and pay respect at the freedom fighter's memorial to mark the occasion.

The Chief Minister will be returning to Chennai on October 30 at 2.45 pm.
