Theni man held for marrying minor

A 31-year-old man was arrested by Uthamapalayam All Women police in Theni district, after being charged for marrying a minor girl and impregnating her.

The accused identified as S Mani of Odaipatti was remanded to custody on Tuesday, sources said. The victim was aged 15 and a resident of Cumbum. Probe is on.
