TET paper-I exam indefinitely postponed due to tech reasons in TN

This year the TRB, in its earlier notification, announced that the TET paper-I would be conducted from September 10 to September 15.

CHENNAI: The Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) paper-I, which is mandatory for getting job in government schools in Tamil Nadu, has been indefinitely postponed.

Every year. Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) will be conducting TET paper-I and TET paper-II exams.

Accordingly, secondary grade teachers, who teach Classes 1 to 5, should pass TET paper-I. Likewise, graduate teachers, who handle Classes 5 to 8, would have to complete TET paper II.

This year the TRB, in its earlier notification, announced that the TET paper-I would be conducted from September 10 to September 15.

TRB, in its fresh notification, said that the TET paper-I exams have been indefinitely postponed due to technical reasons in the concerned department.

The board said the new exam schedule will be announced later.
