Tamil Nadu Revenue staff to boycott poll camps

The Vellore unit of the Tamil Nadu Revenue Department Officials Association plans to boycott the proposed special poll related camps due to nonpayment of dues amounting to more than Rs 4 crore, official sources said.

Revenue officials will boycott the special camps planned for November 13, 14 and November 27 and 28, sources added. 

The amount was due to police and revenue personnel who were on duty during the recently concluded Assembly elections, they said.
