Tamil Nadu records 5,928 fresh COVID-19 cases and 96 fatalities in single day

The total number of Covid affected have rose to 4,33,969 in the state now. The total fatalities have increased to 7,418 in total.

Tamil Nadu has recorded 5,928 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday, according to the state's health department.

The state saw 96 fatalities owing to Covid-19 infections today, taking the death toll of the State to 7,418.

On the positive side, 6,031 Covid-19 patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals in the state.

Chennai city has detected 1,084 new cases in the past 24 hours. Other districts in the state have recorded 4,844 fresh corona cases.
