Chennai
Tamil Nadu has recorded 2,608 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday, according to the state's health department.
The state saw 38 fatalities owing to Covid-19 infections today.
On a positive side 3,924 cases were recovered and discharged from various hospitals in the state. The total recovered cases were 6,87,388.
Chennai city has detected 723 new cases, other districts have recorded 1,885 new cases in 24 hours.
