CHENNAI: Extreme heat condition prevailed in most parts of the State with three places touching 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The highest temperature was recorded at 101.3 degree Fahrenheit in Karur Paramathi, 101.12 degrees Fahrenheit in Erode and 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit in Madurai airport.
