DMDK’s list includes some of the prominent names, including the party Deputy Secretary LK Sudhish, who will contest from Kallakurichi constituency. Others include party propaganda secretary, Alagapuram Mohanraj, who will contest in North Chennai constituency and Dr Ilangovan, party presidium chairman, will contest from Tiruchy constituency.
R Azhagarsamy, investigation wing member of the party, will the party candidate for Virudhunagar. Similarly, the PMK, who had announced their five candidates, on Sunday, named the remaining two candidates on Monday. Dr Vaithyalingam will be the candidate for Sriperumbudur constituency and K Jothi Muthu, will contest from Dindigul constituency. In the AIADMK-led alliance PMK was allotted seven seats and DMDK four seats for the Lok Sabha elections.
