Stalin unveils housing scheme for SL Tamil refugees

The project comes up at a cost of Rs 17.84 crores.

CHENNAI: In order to rehabilitate Sri Lankan Tamil refugees in Tamil Nadu, the State government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin unveiled a housing project in Thottanuthu near Dindigul.

The Chief Minister officially inaugurated the project through video conference.

The project will come up in a cost of Rs 17.84 crores and 321 units are expected to be built on a strip of 300 acres.

The inauguration ceremony was physically attended by ministers I Periyasamy, Gingee Masthan and Sakkarapani.
