Extending his support to the conference being organised by the Thanjavur Big Temple Right Reclamation Committee, which insists on consecration being conducted in Tamil, Stalin said the ruling AIADMK should fulfil the demand of the conference.

Remarking that applying Tamil and social justice in temples was cultural struggle, Stalin, in a statement, referred to consecration done in ancient Tamil temples during the DMK regime and said the government of the DMK had only replaced the term ‘kumbabisekam’ with kudamulukku.

Starting from performing pooja in Tamil to making all caste people as archakas, the DMK has made all efforts and the whole state knows the legal battle the party had waged to defend Tamil and social justice, the DMK chief, who is also the Leader of the Opposition added.
