Speaking to reporters at Nagapattinam, Rajenthra Bhalaji blamed that DMK president MK Stalin, who was the Deputy Chief Minister during the DMK regime, brought out the GO directing the extraction of hydrocarbon in the Cauvery delta region and now, he has been enacting a drama, stating that he would do anything to prevent the project.“It is really Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, the real farmer, who has understood the plights of the farmers and so he gave the announcement. He will also initiate legal proceedings to the stop the project,”Bhalaji said.

The minister also said that the Chola Manadalam (Chola Dynasty) was once world famous for production of foodgrains and it would continue, as the Chief Minister, who is a farmer himself, will provide all supports to the farmers in bringing out its past glory, he stressed and added that the people believe in the Chief Minister than anyone else.
