Special fare trains functional from Tambaram to Tirunelveli

According to a release, the Tambaram-Tirunelveli junction special fare train (06021) will leave Tambaram at 9 p.m. on October 20 and reach Tirunelveli junction at 9 a.m. the next day.

MADURAI: To clear the rush during the Deepavali festival, special fare special trains will be made functional in the Tambaram-Tirunelveli sector via Karaikudi and Aruppukottai. According to a release, the Tambaram-Tirunelveli junction special fare train (06021) will leave Tambaram at 9 p.m. on October 20 and reach Tirunelveli junction at 9 a.m. the next day. Tirunelveli junction-Chennai Egmore train (06022) will leave Tirunelveli junction at 1 p.m. on October 21 and reach Egmore at 3.20 a.m. the next day. These trains will halt at Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Tiruchi, Pudukottai, Karaikudi, Sivagangai, Manamadurai, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti. Tirunelveli-Egmore train will halt at Tambaram and Mambalam additionally. One AC first class, two AC 2-tier, six AC 3-tier, six sleeper, two general, one general second class (Divyangan friendly) and luggage cum brake van will be augmented by these trains.
