Speaker warns Vijayadharani not to speak in House sans mike

The Speaker also said that being a senior member Vijayadharani should not speak without a mike in the Assembly.

Chennai: Speaker M Appavu on Tuesday warned Congress MLA Vijayadharani for her conduct in Assembly.

When HR & CE Minister PK Sekarbabu was giving reply to the MLAs, Vijayadharani sought permission from the Speaker to speak in the Assembly but was not given the chance.

Despite that Vijayadharani rose from the seat, however, the Speaker did not give a chance. Then Vijayadharani started chattering with AIADMK MLAs for which the Speaker intervened and said that she was given the opportunity to ask four sub-questions while some members were not even given the chance to ask a single main question.

The Speaker also said that being a senior member Vijayadharani should not speak without a mike in the Assembly.
