CHENNAI: Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) president Thol Thirumavalavan on Thursday visited the family of John, one of the victims of the Nanguneri double murder and offered condolences and financial assistance.

He urged police to set up a police station in Nanguneri to curb such incidents.

Thirumavalavan said the victims of the double murder were not known to have any prior enmity based on caste, religion or politics and called for the immediate arrest of all those involved in the crime.
