RTI training camp in TN begins from today

The launch will be conducted at Sir Pitty Thyagaraya Hall, at 11 am on Sunday.

CHENNAI: Arappor Iyakkam, an anti-graft organisation, has organised RTI training across the State and training camps will be inaugurated in Chennai, on Sunday.

"As we celebrate the week in which the Right to Information Act (RTI) came into existence, Arappor Iyakkam to conduct RTI Training in 1,000 places of Tamil Nadu," Jayaram Venkatesan, convenor of the organisation, said.

The launch will be conducted at Sir Pitty Thyagaraya Hall, at 11 am on Sunday. At the training camps, volunteers of Arappor Iyakkam will take training sessions across the State for the next one year. "The first of the training will happen soon after the launch."
