The nodal officers at the respective hospitals would also be responsible to update on the available facilities, bed occupancy, intensive care units (ICU) and vacancies in their respective hospitals. These details will be uploaded to COVID-19 dashboard launched by the government recently. The officials denied any shortage of beds in private or government hospitals despite the huge spike in cases every day. It has also started an additional helpline number for COVID-19 related ambulance services. The new helpline number is 044-4006 7108.
