This is the 2nd Workshop of Indian Railways to achieve this rare feat and the shop had earlier been certified with Gold rating during the year 2018. An official statement said in order to achieve the rating, the workshop has taken various measures, like tree plantation and energy conservation, sinceJune 2021. All the system’s efforts were assessed by assistance from CII in two stages. Pre-assessment audit was completed on Dec 17 and the final certification audit was conducted by CII team Dec 28 and the efforts were appreciated.
