Power lines run dangerously low over farmlands in Perambakkam

Many farmers who own agricultural land in Perambakkam have claimed that the power lines, which are hanging so low pose a serious threat to the workers in the farm as well as the cattle roaming around the lands.

TIRUVALLUR: Farmers in the district have raised concerns over the power lines running dangerously low over their agricultural land near Tiruvallur and have requested the authorities to look into it at the earliest. Many farmers who own agricultural land in Perambakkam have claimed that the power lines, which are hanging so low pose a serious threat to the workers in the farm as well as the cattle roaming around the lands. Despite several complaints to the electricity board officials in Kadambathur, no action has been reportedly taken so far. So, the farm owners have requested the authorities in charge to repair the low running power lines to ensure that no untoward incidents take place in the future.
