Police arrest 3 men near Srivilliputhur for selling ganja

The accused have been identified as Jaimuneeshwar of West Street, Perumalpatti, Ganesan of Kambathupatti and Muniyandi of Pillaiyarnatham.

MADURAI: Three men were arrested on Thursday near Srivilliputhur Town in Virudhunagar district after being charged with selling ganja. The accused have been identified as Jaimuneeshwar of West Street, Perumalpatti, Ganesan of Kambathupatti and Muniyandi of Pillaiyarnatham.

On arresting the trio, police seized 1,300 grams of ganja from them, sources said. The action was taken based on a complaint that illegal acts of selling ganja was received through WhatsApp number -9443967578, which’s created by the Virudhunagar District Police, sources said.
