Edakkal Caves: The caves are two natural rock formations believed to have been formed by a large split in a huge rock. It is believed that the caves were camping shelters of the Neolithic community and the cave walls contain a collection of Neolithic rock engravings and images.
Chethalayam Falls: It is one among the lesser known waterfalls in Northern Kerala and locals believe it to have some of the finest trekking trails in the area. One can also find a lot of exotic flora scattered across the area.Ambalavayal Heritage Museum: One of the largest archaeological museums in Kerala, it has a rich collection of artefacts which stand in testimony of the fact that there had been an advanced civilisation which existed in the mountains of Wayanad.
