Phased reopening of worship places in Tamil Nadu

Many religious leaders requested government reopen Temples, Churches and Mosques on condition of physical distancing.

Worship places within 15 municipalities are set to reopen as a part of the unlock policy.

Income of worship places with the ceiling of Rs 10,000 only are permitted to reopen.

This order is the first one targeted towards worship places since it were closed on March 24.

Many religious leaders requested government reopen Temples, Churches and Mosques on condition of physical distancing.

Thermal scanners were suggested to be installed to check temperature of devotees and those with illness like diabetes,heart and respiratory issues along with children aged under 10 are advised not to visit worship places.
