Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, GK Vasan said, the Opposition parties have been campaigning against the Agri Laws, that was brought by the Centre, and the farmers should be aware of it. The new law would pave the way for increasing the income of the farmers.
He asked the State to open adequate number of DPCs to procure paddy and identify facility centres for the support of farmers to stock the paddy until their turn for procurement comes.
He also asked the government to ensure availability of fertilisers in the Cauvery Delta districts as there were complaints of shortage, including urea.
