CHENNAI: The state government on Monday launched a new Whatsapp channel to help people learn about the schemes implemented and news related to the state government.
The new official Whatsapp Channel of the state information and public relation department "TNDIPR, Govt of Tamil Nadu" would help people comprehensively learn and avail the benefits of all schemes implemented by the state government.
A release issued by the state DIPR department in this regard appealed to the people to scan a QR code circulated by it to learn about the schemes and news pertaining to the state government.
The state information and public relations department already operates Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube pages to educate the people about the welfare schemes implemented by the state government.
