No Pongal break: Students must be in schools to hear PM’s speech

The state government on Friday issued orders to all the state-run schools that they should ensure telecast of Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi interaction with the students at Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020 programme in New Delhi on January 16.

A circular, issued by the Directorate of School Education, said that the management of the schools should also ensure larger participation of students especially studying from Class 9 to Class 12 to witness Modi’s interaction. The government circular also instructed that all management of the schools should also ensure uninterrupted power supply so that the full programme will be viewed by the students.
