Mismanagement of DMK govt results in drug shortage: EPS

CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary and former chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami lashed out at the DMK government over the news reports on drug shortage in government hospitals.

He said the ruling party, with an intention to make money, have created an artificially drug shortage and demanded the government to give up such corrupt practice.

The present government’s mismanagement and corrupt practice led to drug shortage. Health minister Ma Subramanian admitted to the drug shortage and spilled out half a truth that they have sorted out the issue, EPS said in a statement.

He demanded the government to procure the drugs and equipment in a transparent manner.
