Mahesh Kumar Agarwal appointed as new Tamil Nadu DGP

Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal is a 1994-batch Tamil Nadu cadre IPS officer. He has served in investigation agencies including the CBI and CB-CID.

CHENNAI: IPS officer Mahesh Kumar Agarwal has been appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Tamil Nadu.

He has been appointed as the new DGP replacing incumbent DGP Sandeep Rai Rathore.

Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal is a 1994-batch Tamil Nadu cadre IPS officer. He has served in investigation agencies including the CBI and CB-CID.

He is currently serving as the Director General of the Border Security Force in New Delhi.
