Kancheepuram Collector Mageswari tests COVID-19 positive

Reports said that the Collector Mageswari has been admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai for further treatment.

While Covid-19 spread has come down drastically across the State as compared to the previous months, there are various bureaucrats who fall victim to the virus infection. Besides the public, the corona warriors who are in the forefront for the prevention of the disease, namely ministers, government officers, government staff members and on-field doctors, nurses have also been infected with the disease and are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

While a few months ago, Erode Collector who was one of the front runners in curbing the spread in Erode district was tested positive, the Kancheepuram district Collector Mageswari tested positive for Covid 19, yesterday.

Reports said that Mageswari was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital for further treatment and she is said to be stable.
