The popular bull-taming shows are held as part of  Pongal celebrations - among the biggest festivals in the state. 

Reports say tourists will get to see the event at the main venue in Alanganallur near Madurai.  The tour will also include stops at the famous Meenakshi Temple and other tourist attractions in the region. 

According to reports, the three-day round trip from Chennai starting January 16 will cost Rs 4300 for an adult and Rs 3450 for a child. 

Reports say tourists will be driven by luxury buses and accommodated at the state tourism department's facilities.
