15 IAS officers transferred; Atulya Misra appointed sports secretary

Misra will replace Selvi Apoorva, who is posted as the secretary of the Housing and Urban Development department.

CHENNAI: The State government on Friday transferred Atulya Misra, chief resident commissioner, TN House, Delhi. He’s now secretary of Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department.

Misra will replace Selvi Apoorva, who is posted as the secretary of the Housing and Urban Development department.

Hitesh Kumar S Makwana, former secretary of Housing and Urban Development dept, is now the chief resident commissioner, TN House, New Delhi.

Shunchongam Jatak Chiru, MD, TN Housing Board, is posted as secretary of Social Welfare department after the previous secretary Shambu Kalolikar retired, recently. T Abraham, special secretary of Agriculture department, is now secretary of Social Reforms department.

R Selvaraj, Commissioner of Town Panchayats, is now secretary of Tamil Development and Information, replacing MS Shanmugam, holding additional charge. R Lilly, special secretary of Industries department, is special secretary of Municipal Administration.

R Nanthagopal, MD, TN Backward Classes Economic Development Corporation, is now Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare, replacing Anil Meshram, who is posted as MD of TN Backward Classes Economic Development Corp.

S Palaniswamy, additional secretary of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department, is now additional secretary of Higher Education department. B Ganesan, project director, TN Road Sector Project-II is posted as Director of Town and Country planning replacing E Saravanavelraj, who is now appointed as MD of TN Housing Board.
