Holidays extended for TN matriculation schools till Oct 9

CHENNAI: Holidays for matriculation schools has been extended till October 9 said the Director of Matriculation Schools, A Karuppasamy.

He also announced that the Dussehra holiday for CBSE schools will end today. The announcement was made by the Director of Matriculation Schools following confusion over whether to open schools tomorrow or not.

Earlier, the School Education Department announced that the Quarterly holidays for students studying in Classes 1 to 5, which was earlier scheduled from October 1 to October 5, have been extended till October 12.
